I helped a patient go to the restroom. The entrance was narrow to get into by herself so I pushed the wheelchair to get in. I felt good to be helpful to someone.

06/29+30 - I am currently visiting my friend's grandmother who is 90. We walk with her every morning, cook and eat with her. I gently tease her and hold her arm when we walk. I have been learning basic techniques of massage developed by a Japanese buddhist monk and have massaged some people here in Korea - mostly Korean hard-working grandmothers who have had difficult lives. I feel very grateful that they allowed me to massage them.
