Since I was on a canoeing tour, there was not too much I could do. For one night, it was hard to find a place to camp, because it was pretty much all private property ("private" signs everywhere...). It made me a little angry, how much of the direct access of the lake is "owned" by a handful of people. We discussed about ownership of property in general, which was interesting. I think living in peace means to enable people access to nature and recreation spaces.

I felt frustrated and angry because I thought they were doing the task in a wrong way and ignoring my advice, but I tried not to be emotional which was not easy than I thought.

As a peacekeeper, shouldn't we participate in a movement like this? https://youtu.be/UH9sNL6QWS4

Today while I was having a conversation with my colleague I felt frustrated and told him to stop. I could have told him in a more gentle way but I didn't. I will practice speaking softly next time.

Today at work, I managed to convince a co-worker who wanted to complain to our supervisor about a colleague to better address this issue with the respective person and have a transparent discussion about where this so-called conflict has risen. She thanked me later and acknowledged that it had been a misunderstanding.

Today at work, I had a good discussion regarding work assignments with my co-workers which resulted in a good agreement.

While jogging today, I greeted people who were passing by with a simple, "Hello" rather than just passing them by.

Today a stranger was rude to me at the gym. I practiced empathy and asked if she was having a bad day rather than arguing with her. Later she came and apologized to me and told me that she was, indeed, having a bad day. She thanked me for being kind instead of picking a fight.

Today I avoided arguing with my partner by keeping my calm and showing him kindness and understanding instead.
