11/7Joey KimLately, I've been feeling a strong reluctance to work, which is causing holes in my usual responsibilities. I am taking a moment to acknowledge and accept this feeling. 'This is my mind right now; I truly don't feel like it' and then I will try to proceed with the tasks, one by one.

11/6Joey KimI am suffering because of conflicts of interest in my work at the company. Coordinating with clients and other teams is not easy. I acknowledge that this is difficult, and I will do what I can. This, too, shall pass.
-
11/5Joey KimI notice when feelings like "This is hard" or "I am worried" arise, and I pause to observe them. Although it is challenging to remain awake and present here and now, I am choosing to make a fresh start, beginning today.

11/4Joey KimAfter finishing my morning practice, my mind feels much more peaceful. It is difficult to stay awake in the here and now, but I am trying again. When my mind feels uncomfortable, I practice observing it simply by saying, "It is uncomfortable," and then just pausing to watch it. This practice brings me peace, and I am grateful for that.
-
11/3Joey KimI'm worried and afraid of what's coming. I admit I'm afraid and do what I can.

11/2Joey KimThere is nothing eternal; everything eventually ends. Wishing for good things to continue causes suffering. Acknowledge this truth, and when the mind struggles, pause and observe myself.

11/1Joey KimThis is a time of confusion for me, as we navigate unprecedented events like the Covid19 pandemic, the rise of AI and the change of my workplace—challenges that even developed nations are struggling to deal with. In this time, I am grateful for the Dharma talks of the Venerable, as they have helped me find my center and focus on what I can do.

10/31Joey KimI am fortunate and grateful to be alive and open my eyes today, with all my basic needs met. I have a habit of comparing myself to others, comparing myself to my past self, and suffering from worrying about the future. Today, I will live with gratitude, right here, right now.

10/30Joey KimMy mind is troubled by work responsibilities. I acknowledge that I want to avoid the situation because I don't want to be blamed. I will do what I can. It's no big deal.
