06/14Joey KimI'm worried because something went wrong during my work. It's not something that can be solved by worrying, but I'm tired of worrying. Since it's something that's already happened, I'm going to focus on how to solve it.

06/14miyeounYesterday through the class, I realized that I need to practice speaking more gently. When I become fixated on the thought that I am right, my words become rigid and forceful, so I understand that I need to practice acknowledging our differences first and staying mindful of what I am saying. I know well that life is an endless process of practice, so I will continue to cultivate awareness steadily. Right now, I feel calm.

06/13miyeounYesterday, I saw someone and realized that I become like him—someone who gets irritated with others and expresses his feelings through his behavior. Understanding that being irritated and expressing my feelings to others without awareness makes me foolish and causes suffering to others, I will consistently practice awareness and letting go. Now I feel thankful for the Buddha's teachings.

06/11Joey KimAs I kept reading comic books, my eyes and wrists started to hurt. If fun becomes too much, it becomes painful. I'm glad I was able to stop because my body was hurting. I'm starting anew from today.

06/10miyeounI have a lot of work and my body us tired, so negative thoughts arose during my morning practice, but after finishing it, my mind became calm. I realized that it’s not my heavy workload itself that’s difficult, but rather my attachment to the thought of having too much work, it’s my karmic consciousness that makes it hard. It’s all created by my own mind. Right now, my mind is serene.
