It’s not just about understanding the Buddha’s teachings intellectually, but through experiencing and trying again when it doesn’t work, I’ve come to truly understand the teachings. This process has reminded me of the immense value of daily practice. Right now, I feel grateful.

03/2Being HappierLast night, heavy rain fell. When I started to walk, it was gloomy and chilly, but the weather eventually cleared up and became sunny in the middle of the walk. I enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air in the woods. Like the weather, our minds and lives are impermanent and constantly changing. Negative conditions can transform into positive ones with time. Can you hear the birds chirping and the water flowing in the stream? We are the master of our own freedom and happiness in life. We can create our own happiness in any circumstance. Let's focus on cultivating our happiness. I walked 10,000 steps – well done.

02/28Being HappierThe sound of water flowing in a stream is the sound of spring. It makes me comfortable and happy even on gloomy and chilly day. Despite the weather condition, I walked 8,000 steps and enjoyed the sound of the stream which helped me feel peaceful. Let's enjoy the life in any situation.
