We use kitchen towels instead of wasteful paper towels.

We purchase toilet paper made from 100% recycled content, since many paper companies continue to cut down old growth forest for their products.

I change my own oil in my truck and previosly would drop off the waste oil to the auto parts store for recycling. Now I drop off waste oil to my friend who has a waste oil furnace to heat his house and auto repair shop. He burns about 1,500 gallons a year and doesn\'t have to spend any money to heat his house, he gets it all from his own business and others that bring it to him. This saves transport and recycling at the refinery thus saving resources.

My flatmate and I did an autumn walk to collect trash. The forest was actually super clean, we only found some trash on the way to the forest 🙂

I ordered the option with the least animal products when I got lunch.

I took back my recyclables home because there is no recycling at home.

I picked up some trash along the trail during my morning walk.

I carried these items with me when I ventured out earlier today.

I followed Option #1 reduce Carbon footprint by bringing in a reusable flask to drink water, tea, & coffee! Saving throwaway paper cups!!
