My husband, kids and I cleaned up a favorite trail and beach area. It was drizzling but warm, and I’m so glad my kids participated with enthusiasm too. It felt so good removing trash from this beautiful natural place

I try to switch my smartphone to energy saving mode during the day. So I don't have to recharge my phone every day, and I use less electricity. It is also a good way to spend more time offline.

As Sunim said "We need to live without suffering while working to avoid the climate crisis". Today's Fifth National Climate Assessment (https://nca2023.globalchange.gov/) reminds me that there is some good news, but we have to hasten our efforts to cut emissions (https://eos.org/articles/deep-emissions-cuts-still-needed-to-prevent-the-worst-climate-change-impacts).

Since beef is the worst protein for the environment, I try not to eat any beef (https://ourworldindata.org/food-choice-vs-eating-local).
