Today I only cooked what we needed for dinner, avoiding wasting ingredients

When I paint, I use old clothes that are too worn out or too small to wear, to wipe off paint. It’s my small way of saving paper towels and tissues — and, in a broader sense, of protecting green trees and the environment. Of course, I know my tiny action alone may not make a big difference, but I find meaning in the act of practicing it. I do it with a light heart\~

Today I gave away my shoes I haven't been wearing on an online platform and the person who picked up was so grateful she gave me some gift

Today I used only public transport instead of taking any taxis to reduce my consumption

Today I could have thrown away my empty soda can in any street garbage bin, but I held onto it until I found a dedicated recycling bin.

I ordered eco friendly garbage bags, plastic bags, cleaning supplies and plastic-free dishwasher tabs (thanks Aram!)

I’ve lowered house temp from 69F to 67F, and it still feels comfortable when I wear enough layers 😉

Yesterday, I used towels instead of paper towels to clean up the kitchen.

Yesterday I spoke to my daughter about the problem of over-consumption and the impact it is having on our planet. She seemed to listen, and I felt hopeful that I had planted a seed in her mind.

"Yesterday, while working, I made an effort to reduce the use of poly bags. I also carefully organized hangers for recycling, and afterward, I felt a bit proud of myself."
