While I was shopping at Sephora, I decided to try a new skin care product from a brand called Origins that actively works to become more sustainable and eco friendly. I did a bit of research after I got home and found out that they have planted millions of trees, use fair labor, use ecofriendly ingredients/materials, actively continue to reduce their carbon footprint, and they work to reduce their packaging waste and to make it more reusable/recyclable. I did find out that they are not vegan. Even though they don’t test on animals for American consumers, they still are required to test on animals because they sell to countries like China who require animal testing.
